The Barbas travel around the country assisting pastors who are planting new independent, Baptist churches. The help they give includes locating a meeting place, teaching Bible classes, leadership training and conducting "The Phone's for You" program. A mailing list is then developed and information is sent out about the new church. Recently in California, a group of volunteers made 22,000 phone calls to area residents looking for those who are unchurched.
