A Brief Bio of Sam and Jill Hendrickson Email Us Sam Hendrickson is the Church-planting Pastor of Westside Baptist Church. God saved him in 1989. While at First Baptist of Sterling Heights, Sam has served God as a deacon, SS teacher, new Christian-discipler, Bible Institute teacher, Mid-week children's leader, VBS teacher, and in other capacities. Recently, Sam served six months as pulpit supply for Springport Baptist Church near Jackson, MI. He received the Master of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2003. In February, 2003, Sam was ordained for gospel ministry by First Baptist Church of Sterling Heights.
Jill Hendrickson was saved in 1976. She has served God in Ladies Missionary Fellowships, Mid-week children's programs, discipling new believers, ladies Bible studies, speaking for ladies programs, assisting Sam in shepherding two SS classes and many other ministries. She has taken three years of Bible Institute classes.
They have been at the work of planting Westside Baptist Church since November 2003. On May 9, 2004 First Baptist Church of Sterling Heights commissioned the Hendricksons as their church planting missionaries. Both regularly work to bring the Gospel to unsaved people personally, and corporately through programs of the church.
